Synopsis:
Jerry owned a coffee shop. It was his pride and joy. For someone as small as he was, the bunny was not one to be kept from doing what he loved. He had a passion for taking the absolute best care of his guests. His favorite guest, Tabitha, happened to make an appearance. Jerry had a terribly big crush on her, not in spite of the fact that she was more than twice his height, but rather partly because of it. Tabitha had an interesting way of demonstrating affection in return.
This whole story came about because of this tweet.

"That should be everything." Jerry said.
The dark rabbit climbed down off the stepstool he had been standing on. It had afforded him the reach he needed for his work. He adjusted his apron and took a look around the little shop. It was his pride and joy, being able to provide an establishment of such caliber. It was homey, welcoming, and it had the distinct scent of coffee and yeast. It was his ideal notion of a cafe and bakery. He couldn't be happier.
"Why'd you make everything normal sized if you're so short?" asked Michael, his assistant manager of similar stature, "You could have built it all to fit you."
"I could, but then I'd be limiting who all I can hire. At least half our people are 'normal sized' as you put it. I'd rather it fit them and have a stool here and there for you and me than have it fit us and have them have to hunch over and not knock things over." Jerry said.
"Fair enough. It's your place." the mouse said.
"Not for the next week it isn't. As of right now, it's your place for the next seven days. Take care of her while I'm gone." the rabbit replied, sticking a paw out for Michael to shake.
The barista mouse took his boss' paw and squeezed it. It wasn't the first time he'd taken the reins, but it had been quite a while since the last time.
"Right. I'll make you proud. Enjoy your vacation," Michael said then froze, his eyes widening as he looked past the dark-grey bunny, "Don't look now, but she's here."
Rather than turn his head, Jerry cast his gaze to a mirror that was on the wall behind Michael. It afforded him a view of the rest of the shop, specifically the front door. And it just so happened that the looking glass was also populated by the image of a lady both of the coffee makers happened to find quite intriguing.
She was tall, far taller than either of them. In fact, Michael could have let Jerry stand on his head and he still wouldn't be tall enough to look her in the eye without craning his neck. They were both just shy of a full meter tall. This woman was just past two, even further if one included her ears. She was also quite the beauty. Her tan fur was meticulously groomed and possessed a luster and sheen that created an almost angelic glow about her. She was curved enough to catch any eye but not so much that it felt obscene when she wore close hugging clothing. And she was wearing some today.
The tall rabbit looked around the shop as she tugged lightly on her pale pink top. It had started riding up a little, exposing her trim tummy. That was the danger of wearing clothing that hugged and stretched like this did. It didn't help that her chest tended to tug on it as she walked. That was another reason for people to stare. Each time she tugged on her shirt, it allowed a little more of the luxurious nest of fur around her neck to fluff out just a bit more. It gave the illusion of being thicker than she actually was.
The visiting lady lifted a paw and removed her sunglasses to have a better look around. Her soft green eyes had a habit of capturing the attention of anyone who did more than steal a quick glance at them. She could have been a model.
"You gonna go for it?" Michael asked in a hushed tone.
"Yeah, I'm gonna. I even got her flowers." Jerry answered with a grin.
"You didn't!" the mouse hissed then gaped.
"I'm goin' for it!" the rabbit repeated.
"Well," Michael said, returning to a normal volume, "I think I'm going to head into the back and get the inventory count."
"Alright, take your time." Jerry said.
The mouse departed, stealing another glance at the tall rabbit before vanishing through the door into the rear of the shop. Once he was alone, the grey bunny turned to stand at the counter, ready to take an order. The lady approached, locking her green eyes on him. He just smiled back as brightly as he could.
It was difficult to keep from just sighing as he drank in the sight of her, but he had a plan, and to carry it out, he had to get things rolling. He didn't even give the moment enough room to breathe before he dove into his usual routine.
"Good afternoon, ma'am. Welcome to the March Hare. What can I get you today?" Jerry asked.
